How to Create a Bamboo Shelf
The bamboo has more than one trick in its bag to invite nature to the house. His argument? To propose a 2-in-3 solution: two towel rails are transformed into three trays that give life to a real interior garden and a flowered decoration! How to Create a Bamboo Shelf?
Materials needed
Attach your towel rails
Cross the two bamboo towel rails on the upper part, that is to say at the first bar. The spacing between the two ladders must be 110 cm. Hold them with 2 spring clips. Then drill the posts at the two intersections, and fix them to each other with threaded rods.
Prepare your trays
Cut 3 bamboo shelves 40 cm wide by 30, 70 and 105 cm long. Draw circles (diameters 12, 14 and 16 cm) randomly on the shelves, making sure they are not level with the bars.
For example:
- In the 30 cm tablet, 1 circle 14 cm in diameter
- In the 70 cm shelf, 2 circles of 12 and 16 cm in diameter
- In the 110 cm shelf, 3 circles of 12, 14 and 16 cm in diameter
Find your trays
Using a jigsaw, cut out the circles and then tweak your cut with sandpaper.
Hang your trays
Screw the shelves on the 1st, 3rd and 5th bars starting at the bottom.
Then place your horticultural pots in each of the previously cut circles.
